Most lost customers never complain — they just quietly leave. These are the most common, least noticed reasons a visitor bounces before ever reaching out.
1. No Visible Phone Number or WhatsApp Link
If contact info is buried in a footer or a separate page, you've added friction at the exact moment someone decided they wanted to reach you. Put it where it's seen immediately — top of every page, ideally tap-to-call on mobile.
2. Slow Load Times
Every extra second of load time measurably increases the chance someone leaves before the page even finishes rendering. Unoptimized images are the single most common cause — full-resolution photos straight from a phone, uncompressed, are often 5–10x larger than they need to be.
3. No Clear Next Step
A visitor lands on the page — then what? If there's no obvious action (call, book, buy, message), people leave without doing anything, even if they were genuinely interested. Every page needs one clear "what to do next."
4. Text That's Hard to Read on Mobile
Tiny fonts, low contrast, walls of unbroken text — all common holdovers from desktop-first design thinking, and all directly costing readership on the majority-mobile traffic most small business sites actually get.
5. Outdated Information Left Live
Old prices, discontinued services, a phone number that's since changed — small inconsistencies that quietly erode trust the moment a visitor notices them, even if the rest of the site looks great.
None of these are big, dramatic problems. That's exactly why they're so easy to leave unfixed — and so consistently costly.
